We are constantly moving forward to try to make our revolutionary proposal presentation software better and more user friendly.

In response to client feedback when your client opens the proposal they get a full browser view of the proposal with a simplified toolbar for ease of reading and use.

User Friendly and More Effective Email

We always strive for the highest deliverability around spam filters, security, and analytics of your proposal.  To improve all of these the following changes were made:

• The email interface has been refined to include the ability to edit the subject and the whole body of the text.
• The email has been changed to plain text without logos to ensure the best levels of deliverability around spam filters.  We modeled this after GoToMeeting which most people are familiar with.
• We have a revised I'll send it myself tab which includes a button to copy the email and then you can paste it into Outlook or whatever email you are using.
• We also have an Open in Outlook button which if you are using a desktop email software such as Outlook or Mail on the Mac it will open a new email where all you have to do is put in the recipients and send just like you would any other email from your computer.

Export Your Manage Screen To Excel

Sometimes you just need to bring a printed list of what you have in your pipeline.  Other times you need to run reports in Excel for what you have closed in the last quarter.

We have made this simple as can be now with the Download CSV Report For Excel button available on your manage screen.  Simply search for the set of proposals you want on your manage screen and hit the button!  Open the CSV file in Excel and report away!

Enhanced Library Organization

Wouldn't it be great if you could give a file in your library a descriptive name and have another simpler name show in your proposal?

We thought so too.  Announcing Internal and Table of Contents naming available in the Admin section when you upload or edit a library file.  

Now you can give your file a specific internal name such as Retail - Cover Letter - Bob Jackson, but in the proposal it will only show as Cover Letter.

Enhanced Email Delivery with SendGrid

Have any of your emails ever gotten caught in a spam filter?

So have we, so to ensure the highest levels of proposal delivery possible Paperless Proposal has integrated with SendGrid.

SendGrid powers the hottest web applications in the business and we are happy to bring their email delivery capabilities to our clients at no additional cost to you to ensure that all possible measures have been taken to ensure that your proposals do not get stuck in spam filters.

You will notice you have two options now when you send a proposal.  The first option is to let Paperless Proposal send your proposal with our new best in the business email delivery system.  The second option  we now provide is a custom link you can copy and paste into your own email client such as Outlook and send your proposal that way.  Below is a screenshot of the new option tabs you will see when you email a proposal.

We are happy to bring these new client requested features to you, and as always greatly appreciate your feedback and ideas.

Rest assured that if you let us email the proposal your name will still display in an on behalf of line and when your client responds to an email it will go directly back to your inbox as always.

As with all email systems including yours and mine there is no way to ensure 100% deliverability around spam filters.  We have been hard at work getting as close to that 100% as possible and now give you these two options to make sure your proposal can always reach your potential client.

We are also launching Regions so you can now classify a proposal by Division and Region.  If you do not use Regions in your business please leave this field blank.

New Paperless Proposal Features

Welcome to the Paperless Proposal blog. We will use this blog to have conversations with you about new features, what we are doing, and where we are going. I wanted to take this opportunity to announce some new features in Paperless Proposal.

Record Webcam Video into your Proposal
Imagine what you can do with this! All of us have some clients who will skip your whole proposal and go straight to the pricing page. These clients are missing a lot of your company's differentiators. I would bet they will watch a short video clip of their sales rep talked them through the highlights if it comes up right away when they load the proposal and it auto-plays before they go to the pricing. This is powerfull and will really set your company apart from other proposals.

Full Screen Preview of Files
The preview functionality has been much improved when you build out your proposal. Now even if you are working on a small screen it will come up almost full screen and allow all the paging and zooming options you have while viewing a full proposal.

Dashboard Reports
Small touchpoint reports right on your Paperless Proposal home page. See your pipeline by rep, market, division, and overall won lost numbers.

Cleaner Proposal Building Experience
Now when you build your proposal it is easier to drag and drop to reorder your files. The buttons along the top have been streamlined and the preview column has moved to a window giving you more room to view your library and proposal.

Remember Me
Just a little convenience feature so that if you are on your computer click the box and Paperless Proposal will remember your email and you will not have to retype it in each time you go to the site.
